While we’re all feeling a lot of different things as we navigate life and business, there’s some powerful mindset shifts that work for anyone in any situation, and that are helping my clients continue to create results and feel happy. So keep reading to learn these simple but powerful shifts, so you can create results in your own business!
QUICKIE MINDSET RE-SET #1
Feel your feelings, but don’t take action from them.
This is probably the one I’m teaching (and using) the most right now. And the one that’s helping my clients create the most results right now.
It’s perfectly normal to feel scared/worried/uncertain/frustrated/tired/overwhelmed/discouraged during this time. We’re all feeling these feelings in different combinations.
Just don’t take action from said feelings. Don’t make decisions to do or not do things in your business from those feelings. Don’t decide what’s true when you’re deep in feeling one of those feelings.
Feel your feelings. Use your tools to manage those feelings. And then take action in your business from a neutral place.
QUICKIE MINDSET RE-SET #2
You don’t need to learn more, you need to serve more.
As humans when we’re stressed, we tend to over-complicate things or put pressure on ourselves to learn or do more. Don’t do that to yourself right now.
While we’re definitely navigating unchartered territory right now, the fundamentals of business haven’t changed. There’s not actually more to learn or do.
Bottom line: get in front of your audience, serve, build relationships, and sell. That’s it, that’s all you have to do to continue seeing results in your biz right now.
QUICKIE MINDSET RE-SET #3
When it comes to feeling happy, your internal world matters more than your external world.
This one probably gets the biggest eye-roll, but stick with me here.
As someone who’s worked with thousands of clients as a therapist and coach, I promise you this is what I know to be true in my bones. I’ve worked with clients who had the picture-perfect life that were miserable, and clients who were couch-surfing with $12 to their name that were full of joy.
It doesn’t mean external stuff doesn’t affect us – we’re still humans. It just means we don’t allow outside experiences to dictate our inside experiences.
Our outside circumstances just don’t matter as much to our happiness as what we’re thinking and focusing on each day. So be sure to think about and focus on things that make you feel how you want to feel.
