“Deep growth happens when our self-care is a celebration of our goodness and value, and not a fixation on what needs to be fixed.” ~ Danielle LaPorte
I just love this take on self-care, because it’s really about unconditional self-acceptance.
Which to me feels better than any massage or spa day. Do I love a good spa day? Hells yes! And I regularly invest in my self-care in these ways.
But what I know actually creates DEEPER growth and pays off BIG time is being relentlessly kind and permission-giving to myself. Every day. All day. Especially when it’s hard.
Because the less I make myself wrong and the more I talk to myself like I would a client or best friend, the happier I feel and the easier it is to create more of what I want.
So let this be your permission slip today (and everyday, really) to make self-care a minute-by-minute practice of self-acceptance and self-love. And not something we have to earn or wait to make a pedicure appointment for.
Opportunities to invest in the most powerful kind of self-care are available RIGHT NOW. Today. All day.
Now I’d love to hear from you! How do you stay in practice around being really good to yourself? Or, where/when does this feel extra hard? Comment below and let me know!
I’ve only got 2 spots currently available for private coaching (my practice is full, so these spots are limited and fill up fast!). AND, my current rates will go up in January, so if this resonates, schedule your Complimentary Consultation here.
